Not mean spirited at all. Just trying to point out the obvious.
Not everyone is as smart as you.

No ack up. You seem to think only of dirty road lickings. Leave early to where you need to go. Quit fussin about. Roads are messed up, have always been. will continue to be.

Leilanidude - in order to visit the unpaved and "un-chip-sealed" roads in HPP, you have to drive all over HPP which includes driving on the paved roads as well; there's no way to avoid that. It's much easier if you get feedback first on which roads to visit otherwise you'll pretty much have to drive the full 150 miles to experience them.

I don't want to join in the usual HPP bashing, but your suggestion is unreasonable and unrealistic.

TomK - It is called a representative sample which would be better than only receiving responses about the worst ones. It would be a waste of time to drive all of the roads. I simply stated that one could easily drive the unpaved roads to get an idea of what is going on. No need to drive down every road though. No need to drive down to the very end of every single unpaved one either. Don't take everything so literally. It is just common sense?

Honestly.. I don't know what people in HPP are complaining about.

Pack a lunch and a spare tire, and drive through every road in Eden Roc.

Strangely enough , I never hear anybody in eden roc complaining.

You don't know what people in hpp are complaining about? Try opening your eyes to all the posts related to our roads and all the money hppoa continues to receive out of our pockets to do next to nothing.

Oh, 10% increase each year also to do less work may have something to do with all the complaints. Dare I ask how much eden roc residents pay for their road maintenance?

Eden roc being compared to hpp is ridiculous anyway. Been here 27 years, eden roc has always had terrible roads and always will. Hpp has gotten as bad as it has ever been since I moved down here from keaukaha in the early nineties. I had grass growing in the middle of the road when I moved to hpp. Very little pot holes.

Last month I was measuring pot holes 8' across and over 10" deep continuously down my road. No material is left on the surface, just dust. How do you fill holes that large when you don't dump new material? I'll tell you, they don't. It gets filled with dust that gets removed with one heavy rain and then we wait again for six months to see same process happen again. Meanwhile our houses get hit with clouds of this dust every dry day when a car passes by.

We get charged over $300 a year for this? With 10% increases each year and the threat of your property having a lein put on it if you don't pay? Our only way of being heard in this situation after so many years of neglect is to bitch and complain. Do you get it now?

Driving around eden roc doesn't solve any of our problems in hpp. What a ridiculous suggestion. What does a lot in eden roc cost vs hpp? How many people live in eden roc compared to hpp? How much money does the hpp board receive each year compared to eden roc? Answer these questions and then get back to us on your eden roc vs hpp comparisons.
