in this case you are most certainly wrong. I know who Obie is and used to see HIM fairly often in Luquin's.

It is my experience that when a topic changes and becomes about personalities there is some trolling going on.

Bring it back on subject please or I will lock it up.

I wonder how our mayor and county determined that 30 thousand more people in the Kona area for the triathlon won't affect their water supply?
Also, how come there is only one rig on the Island that can work on fixing all these broken wells?
Which wells get the priority now that private wells in Kohala are also experiencing similar issues?

It's my understanding that the maintaining of these wells falls on a contractor.. wouldn't it be in the best interest of the county to find someone more better at turning wrenches and using a grease gun.

As an after thought just who is the contractor related to in the DWS.

Let's just say for a life or death system like water supply
in the middle of the Pacific, DWS does not inspire confidence.
Nor do the rest of our governmental or quasi-governmental or private services
in this State and County that we all depend on.
It just gets to the point that one is left speechless with the emptiness of it all.

Ironic that it mostly affects the high-value resorts and other prime real estate, while the unwashed masses in their "private" "agricultural" subdivisions have self-sufficient catchment systems...

Looks like Another Big Island Mayor has no problem hiding the truth from the Public. The Dept of water supply and the Big Island Mayor Harry Kim apparently think the public does not need to know the truth or facts about the Islands long lasting water issues.

Flint, Michigan has also had some similar water issues in the past few years.

I doubt anyone would be held accountable on the Big Island for the many water issues or the caused public mistrust because that's how Hawaii operates. JMO
