Spam, spam, spam, spam

This is now international news, for crying out loud, even my mum in the UK knows about it!

Washington Post: https://goo.gl/bomCDb

Daily Mail: https://goo.gl/gAkMnD

Even the Times of London has an article (https://goo.gl/z7Mjah) but that's behind a paywall.

Showing the world our Hawaiian values, that Spam is worth stealing by some members of our island society, then sell to other members of our island society, creating cash based disposable income for drug purchases. Hello world.

I think the women were actually lost and were looking for MAPS because they are dyslexic.

If the spam thieves ever get caught, they could try blaming Kim Jong Un:

"Your Honor, the spam was part of our balanced two week emergency food supply, as recommended by The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency should we need to shelter in place for two after a North Korean missile attack. We're just trying to prepare as best we can. And who's the real criminal here? Me or Kim Jong Un, for bombing our island home?"

Spam fan here, tho we eat the low fat version bc regular Spam is too greasy. I fry it up in cubes til it's real crisp, and put it on top of a salad. YUM!!! As for the flavored varieties of Spam... blasphemy!

I think I've only ever tried plain spam (I like spam musubi, BTW) but might give spam with jalapeno a go. I draw the line at spam flavored macadamia nuts though.

Speaking of Koreans and spam..

They revere it more than the Hawaiians. I like the taste but I'd never buy it.

The best part of Spam macadamia nuts is when the nuts are all gone and all that is left is that half inch of "Spam powder" at the bottom of the can. I don't know what mythical creatures make the spam powder, but I can guarantee you they could conquer those Keebler tree dwellers without any effort.

Disappointing; not jalapeno enough. If you want flavor, try the garlic spam; if you want spicy, try the hot-n-spicy (Tabasco) spam.

ProTip: the Sack-n-Save on (near) Puainako has every flavor; other stores tend to have a limited selection.

I actually like the stuff.

Thin sliced spam (any kind) fried a bit crispy, cheddar cheese, tomato slices and a bunch of holy basil on whole wheat with ranch dressing.
