County offer?

Thought I would update this county offer thread.

After waiting several years for the county of Hawaii to own up to their promises, the county only changed the rules. It makes me happy to write that we did not except the counties low ball offer after all. We asked the county and Mayor to negotiate, the county and mayor said they couldn't negotiate because everyone else who was also offered the low buyout offer would expect the same negotiation. We are happy as a family with our decision of selling and moving without the Counties help.

Has there been any other news regarding the county of Hawaii's attempted buyout of the 30 homes that were on the geothermal relocation list?
How many on the original list took the low offer and how many resigned up on the new geothermal relocation list?

ETA: I refer of course to Gypper's plan to let the County buy his house so he can get away from the fictitious poison gas of PGV, only to buy the house back and pocket the difference.

Gypper - you are out of touch my man. There are zero homes on the geothermal relocation waiting list. There was only one applicant last year, who house was promptly bought by the County (for a handsome price I might add) and this year has seen no applicants at all.

I'm guessing that the noxious smell in the area was coming from your house and now that you're gone, nobody feels the need to relocate anymore.

Have I to read a post in order not to read it? Really? How does one do that? Guess I didn't read the small print for posting on Punaweb, but maybe it said: "Don't read this".
