Phone Service

I read somewhere that it is taking along time to get phone service installed? Would it make sense to apply for new phone installation when a home isn't compelted being built yet?

Appreciate your thoughts/advise.

I would apply especially if you have the trusses installed and siding for the area the phone box is installed on.I believe you are allowed to have a phone put in before building begins for construction use but you may want to check on that one.

Cindy, when I was working with Mike in Volcano we had a phone line brought in and was mounted to the temp. power pole with a weather cover made of plastic. It was a just a basic black wall mount. Once the house was weather tight we ran a long line into the house and changed it to a desk model.
