It's raining so hard that......

my rain gauge is wearing a full length raincoat and galoshes, and is begging for an umbrella. [Smile]

Starting to look like the winter of 2011, sticks vividly in my mind, it literally rained for 30 days and nights before it FINALLY stopped. Someone started this topic back then, it was pretty humorous towards the end of the 30 days, ahem.

Let the creativity flow....no pun intended

If it keeps up, somebody will probably be towed behind a four wheeler on their surfboard down the street!

I well remember the winter of 2011, as we moved to HPP from Seattle on September 6th that year. Massive amounts of rain.

We had a nice break from the rain yesterday. Even scored a tank full of solar hot water. Sadly, the next sun I see sun on the 10-day forecast is 5 days from now on Tuesday.

terracore - I don't enjoy being the bearer of bad news, but both the NWS and MKWC are forecasting more stormy weather starting the middle of next week. Enjoy the sun while you can on Tuesday!

Rain rain rain - no annoying tourist helicopters all day long .
We love the rain - washes away new comers .
Fills the aquifers .
Keeps everything green n growing .
In the 1950s
and 1960s it would rain heavy for 4 months or longer every winter.
Well before red lights or 4 lane highways or big box stores .
This small kine heavy rains is delightful .
Today is part sunny part cloudy here in Gloomwood ( Glenwood ).
