ohmigosh Wyatt! What an amazing process! You have done well. For the square footage you have, your home is so well laid-out! Love the kitchen...is that a spot for a dishwasher I see? How's kitty adjusting?

Thanks David and Carolann.
The Red stuff is a waterproof membrane called Redqaurd. Available at home depot. Pam showed us this product. She used it in her Bathroom. We felt this floorplan was the best use of space for 500sq ft. We retired from the RV Sales business, and were used to working with Park Models that were 400sq ft or less. So small and well laid out were key factors for us. Yes that is a space for a dishwasher to be installed latter. The kitty is doing well. He stays indoor mostly, but loves to get out and climb trees while we work in the yard. Hi all, we took a break on the house and worked in the yard. We put cinder soil in the yard and created a circular drive using red cinder.
Please check out our progress. Wyatt http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/wyatt96778/album?.dir=4f25&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/wyatt96778/my_photos Edited by - wyatt on 07/15/2006 16:12:31

Hi Carolann,
The view was 50% of why we picked Kalapana SeaView. 25% was proximty to beach. 25% because it had county maintained roads. We always get the view but not much time for the beach. Aloha Wyatt

Wyatt - good going. Pretty funny when I spotted Harlan in one of the pics. He is so totally the neighborhood helper guy. Your place looks great. We are coming out in December so maybe we will meet you when we are checking on our Seaview lot. I sure hope my trees that I planted last year are growing.

Hi Mella, I agree about the water, we plan on taking a month or two off before starting the next project.
Hey punagirl, I can go by and check your trees for you. I tried finding your place before but no luck. Does Harland know which it is. Harland and John have been a great help and great friends. Wyatt Edited by - wyatt on 07/16/2006 12:13:38

Hey Wyatt - thanks for the offer. Our lot is pretty easy to find. When you start up Mapuana we are the second lot behind the junky brown ranch house. We have a bright pink bouganvilla near the road (it was there when we bought the lot) and we planted 8 coconut trees to the back of our lot.
John knows our lot. He doesn't know me as Punagirl though. John & Harlan will know me as "Bob & Aimee from Atlanta". I need to e-mail them and see how they are doing. Tell them I said Hi! Atlanta/Pahoa
