Where to take old electronics?
#1
I have a bunch of old office equipment I need to get rid of. Some works, some needs repair. MacMini (no keyboard), Cinema Display screen & adapter, HP laser printer, Canon copier/laser printer. Any idea where I can take this stuff?

The landfill in Hilo takes electronics on the last Saturday of the month I believe.

That is today.
Assume the best and ask questions.

We took ours to Mr. K's. It's free every Saturday for non-businesses. Here's the rest of the info on where you can take your stuff:

I had difficulty with Mr. Ks. The employees were hard to understand and gave me really cryptic instructions on where to take certain things. “Go to the building back there.”, etc. Finally someone took pity on us and took our stuff.
Also beware it can be a traffic jam on Saturday. It was like that on two visits I made.

It was chaos for me too and the employees were rude, but I can't whine when they took my stuff for free.

Good to know about the chaos at Mr. K's. Anyone have experience with the Hilo landfill drop-off on 4th Sat. of month?
