police officers force man to lick urinal
#1
Four Honolulu police officers have been stripped of their badges and guns and are facing a federal investigation for allegedly forcing a homeless man to lick a urinal in a public restroom. The officers have from three to 16 years of service. They have each had their police powers revoked and are on desk duty, pending the outcome of the investigation.

If true, what on earth were the officers thinking?

Thinking that they are above the law and that even if caught they only face slaps on the wrist?

It appears a fifth officer at the scene was the informant.

Desk duty but still collecting a paycheck? They should be fired right away and put up on charges. If this is true, we don't want idiots like these in our police force.I'd suspend them without pay.

That’s not how it works when you have a Union job. The pay keeps on rolling in.

They'll have to raise taxes to pay these guys to sit at desks until retirement.

Maybe that was their plan- easier to sit at a desk than do real police work-
you know-like serve and protect, follow up on real issues, not as someone else
said here "lick 'em Danno'".
Nothing like being on on the public service dole with a gun, badge and a police union.
Then too see Louis Kealoa and prosecutor wife and Keith Konashiro.
Seems Oahu is at least morally and ethically truly the "Dead Island", as some real
old traditional Hawaiians said.
