HB2506, up for a hearing on Tuesday, to provide funding for actual research into rat lungworm instead of more putzing around on outreach. But testimony is due Monday morning at 8:00 AM! Sorry for the late notice, I only just heard about it. Even if you don't make the deadline, keep it bookmarked, as it will no doubt require further testimony if it passes this step. Here's the link:

And for the cynics - yes, testimony can make a difference! No, not every time, and it's not going to trump political maneuvering, but especially on less-controversial issues like this, showing that there's a large number of people who genuinely want it is important and can show legislators with lots of stuff on their plate that it is a priority they should deal with.
