It has state signage. The state maintains the trail, weed whacking regularly. I saw DNLR officials checking the trails, they drove there with official trucks and wore DNLR jackets.
Despite that, you could still be right.

South Point is mostly DHHL (and all "agricultural" with 100% tax exemption) except for the eastern shoreline (34 acres State, conservation, exempt; southern tip 4.7 acres US Lighthouse Service, conservation, exempt). Respectively:

Amazingly, prime shoreline is valued at less than $2K/acre -- less than any of the subdivisions -- people should be challenging County's RPT assessments.
