Neither Nora or I are Norwegian (at least we do not think she is. She was adopted). And we do not have a dog but instead have two cats. They sleep while we are at work. We would feel bad leaving a dog alone in the house all day.

But back to your question - Wegian is what Nora's friends called her in college (Nora-wegian). We found that it is usually available as an account name whenever we set up online accounts.

Thanks for the Wegian link. What a beautiful dog. I work with people who are training their dogs to become therapy dogs. These folks have many interesting stories to tell.

Hi Fred,

Thanks for letting me know! It is one of those things that get me curious, how people pick these other names for their sign in. Something that they are familiar with that they relate to themselves.

I bet your friends stores are interesting indeed. A poodle list that I am on has many members that have disabilities and have the standards as their guide dogs etc. It is great to hear what all happens in their lives.

I do raise Standard poodles and some of the pups that have gone on are now therapy dogs in organizations. One is in Austin, Tx.
I have thought of donating one from my current litter to an agency that trains them for hearing or sight impared folks. We shall see what happens with that. I tell you what, this litter that I have is a great deal of fun! I have them sitting on command at five weeks and some even learn to ride a skateboard. Most of them leave and are very close to being potty trained by 8 weeks old. They naturally do that when they are a few weeks old, they are learning it.
They are the sweetest dogs and so easily trainable. I know you are into kitties and that is a good thing too. It is hard to imagine folks who are not animal lovers and respectors.

Don and Lek there is great progress wow, how time flies! Thanks for sharing the pics with us. Oh I started with the classifieds and asked there what has Lek done with the two huge piles of lava out front? I had some really imaginative things run thru my mind and am so currious how she used them in her landscape. Well maybe you guys aren't there yet, but looks good enough for a PunaWeb party say in the garage!!! LOL Aloha, Mella

Thanks to you all for your replies.We know only too well how hard you worked on your project Pam.We must get up there sometime to see how it finished out.Pam J.,you can bet my tail is dragging The silver tube you saw was a photo of the solar attic fan...not A/C..sorry.Oh,but we do have a nice breeze on the lanai most of the time.Your welcome to come and sit a spell and talk story.
Fred & Nora,we hope to get final insp. by mid-August and you are welcome anytime.Kitchen is the most important room closely followed by the bathroomLucy,thanks for your words of encouragement.The painting and flooring have been very tiring but rewarding,and saved me a bunch of money doing it myself.
Mella,I hadn't thought to take pictures of Lek's mountain,but will try to remember to do that soon.She is creating a really nice mountain of various plants,including Samoan coconuts,firecracker plant,tree fern,and a bunch of misc. that I have no idea what they are lol.She still has alot to go,but this will be a focal point when sitting on the lanai.We're even considering a waterfall!She's also got 45 papaya trees,30 pineapple,4 avocado,4 bananas,1 tangerine,1 lime,some dry taro,and a bunch of tomatoes and hot peppers.As you can see,she loves to garden.Once the house is done she wants to raise some chickens to.Looks like I'll be busy building a chicken coop.
