Should chase away a fain number of tourists as well.
Soon enough social media will chime in and do away with the hump bump broken shocks and messed up suspensions .No different than many of H.A.Rds .Yes kalakoa more GET for fail rail none us will ever use but we all pay for.
It will be most interesting to find out who approved this project and is it state wide or just ITO .

It's a fine example of a solution looking for a problem. I've never heard of any accidents on that stretch, there are no pedestrian or bicycle crossings (or traffic).
A more reasonable solution would have been to continue the 35 mph speed past where the full retard has been installed and kick it down to 15 right before the road begins the turn to the terminal area.

My guess is, no one asked the car rental companies. Their fleets are going to get the full "Weekend In Bangkok" treatment, on a regular basis.

Probably the same official who ordered it declared it approved.
I'm not a traffic engineer, but I'm pretty sure standard practices would not allow speed bumps in a place like this. They are for places with pedestrians in the vicinity.

Ask the airport workers who risk getting fired if they don't punch their timeclock on time. They probably get stuck behind a tourist or local who come to a complete stop at the speed bumps (each and every one of them) every day. Seconds add up if paying your rent is dependent on whether or not the person in front of you knows how to drive. Sure, they should have probably left earlier, but they probably did and there was some other full-retard reason why they got delayed and these useless/needless vehicle suspension-damaging speed bumps are shortening the lives of the vehicles they can't afford the payments on.

Just take an old clunker with out ID and tow it to the 1st hump bump and leave it there.
Busted front end and all and flattened tires .That might be one solution to our new local airport welcome to Hawaii and that pretty landscaped ALOHA sign,a bit of anarchy never hurt .
