If by "keep it to the right" (strange turn of phrase) you meant stay to the right to let others pass, then you really have zip zero nil none nada nunca idea of what you're talking about. Try not keeping right on any European highway and you will learn some new words pronto.

Okay, so we have established that you don't know anything about driving in Europe, yet you want to make comments about it. Par for the course.
You should stick to things you know about, like airport parking. Have you noticed an increase in damage on the cars since the new speed bumps were installed?

This thread is not about driving in Europe - The U.K -- Au - or Japan - it is about the speed bumps not HUMPS .
I am not Rob Tucker but the opala child like vomit of your argumentative off topic has ZERO to do with our newly installed bumps not HUMPS at ITO and no other airport state wide ( YET ) .

These speed bumps make no sense. I'm at the airport several times per month and have never seen anyone cross the street where the speed bumps start. It's also 15 mph a long way before the airport drop-off area.

Rules are important: traffic safety, crime control, zoning, health (food-borne illness), etc.
Their administration draws employees/administrators who want to help the common good. But it also draws extremists, martinets who both lack a sense of proportion and get a rise out of telling people what to do.
If we let them drive 25 mph on this stretch, soon they'll be doing 30. Then they'll be doing 35 and then 45. Then they'll be barreling at 45 through the pedestrian pickup zone.
Mostly these fanatics remain low level employees. But sometimes they rise high in agencies. We see this regularly in Hawaii County.

I did a bit of a searching and am still puzzled. I can't find any information on speed bumps being installed on the Puna-side of the airport drive (I know they are there having experienced them - that was March 14th) but did find something from the DOT that said speed bumps would be installed "fronting" the terminal area on March 24th.

I haven't been to the airport for the last few weeks, but does anyone know if those speed bumps have been installed in the terminal area? Why wasn't something published about the previously installed speed bumps? Or is it just a screw-up?

People don’t stick to the speed limit (which is way too low imho) so they insrall speed bumps to help them along.
