HPP Biz
I just noticed on the HPPOA web site that a Special Board meeting has been announced for July 2nd at 6:00 in the Activity Center kitchen.

The library, according to the HPP calendar is always scheduled at that time, so they are using the kitchen.
Not a bad idea meeting in the kitchen, I believe there is quicker access to fire extinguishers in case it gets too hot. Or, here is another thought, maybe the new board is going to put on a cooking demonstration, I hear there is plenty to roast.
Wish I could attend.

Old croc, as far as I know it is but not sure. If someone doesn't know off the top of their head, then a check of the old board minutes going all the way back could be done to verify. But that is limited to only the minutes that are available.

"All women! Is this a first?"

Ironicly.

" Special Board meeting has been announced for July 2nd at 6:00 in the Activity Center kitchen."

"access to fire extinguishers in case it gets too hot."

Or may have to exit the kitchen

You are correct, this shouldn't be posted here it needs to be posted in Puna Events

What is it about forensic audits that Hawaiians don't like? Perhaps the former HPPOA Board will comment.

Aloha Kahunascott....I posted it in the Puna Events as well. There was a pretty decent turn out. Lots of fun and good music. Mike Evans put the event together. Big MAHALO to Mike! AND Big MAHALO to all the bands that played for free for this important event[Smile]

Presumably, if there is nothing to hide in these areas, there should be collaborative cooperation among trustees and administration, who are the top stakeholders with regards to the independent audit. Unfortunately, we won't know what, if anything, is being hidden until the independent audit is performed. What we do know is that beneficiaries deserve to be given the truth.

The time has come for beneficiaries to speak up and hold your trustees accountable. You can call or write trustees, or you can come to our public Board meetings to demand that the independent audit be made a top priority.

Sounds similar to what's been going on in HPP since the forensic analysis was first voted by the members at their membership meeting in Oct 2017.

The Finance Committee with a new and experienced Treasurer is busy working on the budget right now. It was supposed to be finished by June at the latest by the former FC but they were obstructed from working on it...the new FC w/a new board supporting them has agreed to meet twice a month in the morning until they've caught up. This is a board priority.
