UPDATE ON OUR CONSTRUCTION

Aloha Royall & Mella:
Yes the floor inspector was out and took photos of the areas that have a dull shine.Floor inspector is representing Dupont,since we have an issue with the finish on some of the boards.We got our final plumbing inspection today and passed.Our electician will be doing his finish work this weekend.It's looking blike we could get our finals done and get our co within the next ten days.The downside is that I strained my back on Monday night and am limited in what I can do.Hoping for a quick recovery so we can get the move under way after the finals.I'll definitely appreciate that offer of help Royall!Lek wanted to get you and Cathie over for dinner before we leave our luxurious rental. We'll be in touch soon.

Aloha:
It's official...we were final inspected on 8-17,and we passed! We are DONE!!!!
Still alot of yard work ahead and some finish painting on the lanai,but we've already started moving some stuff in.So,we are truly "living the dream".Sometime this fall we plan to have a party for our group of tradesmen and we plan to invite you all to share in the experience.We've gained alot of knowledge from this forum and made some great friends.Puna is truly a great place to live!
