Sure, in Puna, where most people mow their "lawn" with a week wacker.
I think I've figured it out. There must have been an article in Troll Monthly, titled:

Worst Places To Live Without A Bridge.
#1 - Puna, Hawaii.

And now he just can't help himself.

Well, maybe you guys should stay. After all, it makes watching the volcano all that more intriguing or "on-the-edge-of-your-seat, when there is skin in the game - as long as it isn't mine! Stay safe, for M. Pele is still lurking around mulling over her options. Personally, I'm moving to Tornado Alley, where it is SAFE!

... and speaking of heavy rains and flooding (who?) (me), I saw this segment recently about the National Flood Insurance program on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. It’s an eye opener, with many examples showing people who’ve built homes, repeatedly, in dangerous flood prone locations. Because they keep getting washed away, they keep collecting insurance payouts.

The owners of those homes make every single one of us in Puna District look like upper bell curve Mensa geniuses. Compared to the repeated flood aficionados in the video we’re a regular community of Albert Einsteins, Marie Curies, and Elon Musks living down here on a volcano. If I had to pick my house or any one of the examples shown in the story based on safety, I’d stay in Puna, hands down:

Puna, sure, why not. ERZ, however, at least for me, is another kettle of fish entirely.
