SATURDAY SEPT 22 ** 6-9pm ** come anytime
Did you know there is a large labyrinth in HPP?
It's always open and free. On the occasions of Solstice and Equinox, we extend a special invitation for you, your neighbors, friends, and family to walk the solar light-lit path during sunset/early evening. Come any time. It takes about 30-40 minutes to walk to the center and back. The grassy paths are lined with lush plants and flowers...and a few surprises! There is a place to get out of the rain if need be.
`Awapuhi Labyrinth has no "official" address.
Find it here on Google map [https://tinyurl.com/y75e36zm]
at approximately 15-1601 4th Ave in Hawaiian Paradise Park near pole #14.

The ‘Awapuhi Labyrinth was built in 1999 by Christie Wolf with help from her husband, John. They lived on 26th for many years and last year moved to Kentucky. There's lots more information about the history, construction, events, etc. here:

We did the walk yesterday 9/23. It was rather wonderful and very beautiful, quite peaceful in the morning. (Might get hot later in the day on clear days.) It was easy to find the mowed pathway that leads in, near pole 14. I would say it's a very fine gift to the community, and highly recommend it when one is in the mood for a meditative and quiet experience.
We found it helpful to read the short blurb on the website to get familiar with labyrinths and this particular one. The team of caretakers do an exceptional job. Much aloha to them and mahalo!
