highway 11 median

Anyone know what is going on at the median by HCCC (Jail)? They have a mountain of gravel and equipment there for months.

As a Puna resident on "private" roads, I love seeing my fuel tax dollars hard at work, when I'm stuck in traffic every morning... They should put a big sign on top of the pile that says "F*ck you Puna!"

It's like free storage is available to certain people.

Private roads also offer free storage ... for vehicles which are no longer wanted.

Or since it’s election season, designate that as an area where politicians can engage in their sign waving campaigns. Under the bigger sign you suggested randomq.
Truth in advertising.

(Wait, who again is it that controls signage locations, quantity, and of a size larger than would otherwise be allowed by everyone else on the island? Oh yeah.)

It’s an anti missile launch ramp. Keep it quiet because it’s a secret!

Speaking of election sign waving, has anyone else noticed the bearded " down under" looking dude that is in danger of getting run over. He jumps out at traffic in his Shaka waving way. Traffic comes to a near standstill. I won't mention his candidate, but I am sure to vote against her!

Waawaawah, I've noticed that guy, and the fact that their candidate has not been out there with them even once (except in sign form). I suspect she would visit as governor about as often.

Its leftover cold planed asphalt material that HDOT will be using. It probably came from the nearby turn lane improvements to the UH ag facility.
