NEW YORK PIZZA
#1
Does anyone know if they are open or not? Out of business?? I've had the phone ringing solid for 30 minutes and nobody answers. I can understand being busy but surely somebody would get tired of it ringing!!

Last I heard, they closed up shop because they couldn't afford the rent with the slow business. But they plan to reopen in the new shopping center. Whenever that happens.

Thanks Shave ice... Too bad landlords get so greedy on the rent with such rundown buildings.

whoa Dan that sounds good! Are you serious? Where's your pizza hotline?

Royall: I guess it's not the case here but sometimes when these food service places get really busy the ringer can be turned down or even off. So even if it rings constantly on your end, it doesn't bother them.

Big Island News had this article on their closing last month... they were looking to move to Honomu for the interim before opening up next spring in the new Puna Kai Shopping Center, but I do know they were having troubles moving their equipment out of the Pahoa location, due to their landlord...
