I know a guy, he lives down the street from me, who said he moved down here to Ka'u because someone had hired him for a job-to help construct a wind farm down by South Point. There's a big mysterious pile of scrap metal out there, he says its from that job. At the last moment, HELCO stepped in and said no, we don't want this, and pulled the plug on the project. Anyways, I thought this was interesting in light of this recent development.

Also, it is a popular misconception that solar farms are silent. If you walk into a solar farm, you CAN hear a very distinct noise

Many people simply don't post when they consider no response necessary. (like to s silly joke about solar farms being noisy)

Your problem is: if it doesn't adhere to everything accepted by the scientific community then that theory is instantly "kooky" or "nonsense"
