Actually I intended to vote for Eileen, that is until her trash talking supporters lost her my vote. Right out of the gate they were making sexist and ad hominem attacks on her opponent. She should have disowned them on the spot, but she let it go on and on, it spoke volumes about her character.

I still think she has done a good job, but I couldn't vote for her because of that. Two years of Trumpeting has left me raw.

I remember a anecdote about Hubert Humphrey, running for President in 1960; he told a crowd "if you going to vote for me because John Kennedy is a Catholic, then stay home, I don't want your vote." Now that's integrity!

....dude. Nobody even knows who Hubert Humphrey is outside of you and a very small section of people. That's a spectacularly bad example, that's an example of integrity relegating you to being a footnote in history. Nobody should follow the example of someone who completely failed.

No, she's "still doing her job" according to her meetings, just by an interpretation neither her coworkers nor most of her constituents agree with. And she hasn't been fired, so she will qualify. She will cash it as "foreign aid".

So disappointed.

No, she hasn't been fired, she resigned. That generally disqualifies you from collecting unemployment benefits. Which btw is different from welfare benefits.

She has not formally resigned, she is just neglecting her duties and being an idiot, as far as I have seen...

When she said that she would not run for re-election, was that not a resignation effective at the end of her term?

The new council will be sworn in Monday, December 3, 2018, so she won't receive a Council paycheck much longer.

Jen has kept a relatively low profile the last two months, I don't remember seeing anything posted after her second meeting explaining her conversion to the Hawaiian Kingdom, or Kingdom of Hawaii. After the first meeting a full length video of Dr. Sai's discourse and the Q&A which followed was available online.

There could be many reasons for her minimal visibility, bordering on invisibility. My only guess is that perhaps she didn't receive the wide scale positive response she had hoped for, maybe even expected after her metamorphosis and awakening?

She has not formally resigned

Resignation validates the legitimacy of the occupying government.

Cashing their checks does not.

It's the Hawaiian Way.
