It's not the relative "cleanliness", it's the misrepresentation ("lying").
Hu Honua is only "renewable" for tax purposes, and it's only "economically feasible" due to regulatory sleight-of-hand. Rates will still go up, but we'll be reducing the available carbon sequestration while pumping more CO2 into the environment.
Perfect example of why the term "greenwashing" was invented.

They’re applying “fertilizer” to the seaweed. Which in turn is a valuable food source for ocean critters. Think of it as sea farming.
