Just found out about Ahmadai Markhoff 937-4146 - drying/milling lumber in Puna - and has article in Arch Digest this month (??) I think!
Any one used him before?
PS I did visit his operation yesterday and he has the kiln Ray Kobayashi was running - but Ray had just been drying lumber for his projects only. Saw some incredible Red Gum Euculyptus (sp)... and mango and of course ohia flooring. Place looks like it is deserted but Ahmadia pulls pieces out here and there and they are beautiful.
