Bright object in sky last night

Did anyone else see a bright object in the sky about 7:30 pm last night? I saw it from down in Kalapana and at first thought it was a bottle rocket. It was really bright and appeared green with maybe a little red and gold. Went from northwest-ish to south-southeast. Heard they saw it in Kona too.

I saw it in HPP. Definite meteor. Was white and green, moving very fast, thick and across the whole sky before going out of sight.

Cool! Thanks. I just caught a glimpse of it through the trees while driving but it seemed plenty bright.

Its called a bolide meteorite. U should report it to us astronomical site
