Amazon Air To Hawaii
#1
Amazon Air has had a facility in Honolulu for about a year now. A few months ago they began daily flights which should have improved shipping speeds for orders. Two of my last three orders did arrive faster than usual:

* Amazon Air’s daily flights to Honolulu have shaved two to seven days off Amazon delivery to Hawaii.

* ...in November, the Amazon Air flights were increased to daily arrivals.

* ...a goal remains to provide two-day shipping to Hawaii.

Hot dog! I hope they start doing passengers too. Seriously, I hope this reverses the trend of Amazon stuff taking longer and longer.

I have noticed a difference over the last 3 months or so.

When I order from Amazon now, items normally ship within 24 hours and I get them within a few days. I've never seen their service to Hawaii as fast as it is now.

If they could get it down to two or three days consistently.. that would be a game changer. I wouldn't need Walmart or home depot for anything.

Since the PM here is broken, PM through city-data?

I don't recall seeing anything changing regarding labels. USPS, FedEx, and UPS. Ever since the USPS has been accepting packages from other carriers we have been able to figure out the types of things that they ship through which carrier, and if it's not likely to ship through the USPS we get it delivered directly to the farm. If we're not sure we'll route it through the USPS street address. Because our street address and PO box are in different zip codes the "hack" of using both of them in one address doesn't work as well for us. I really wish Amazon had the option of letting us select carrier-specific delivery addresses since they don't allow us to select the carrier. Maybe someday.

I wonder if any of those trouble ones you had bad luck with were tossed back and forth between above right here ?
