Manhunt on Big Island
#1
A man who shot a woman last night in Kona escaped from police. Be on the lookout. Photo at link:

A large manhunt is underway for a 41-year-old suspect accused of shooting a woman in Kona and then ramming his vehicle into a police vehicle, spurring three officers to fire at him before he fled.

Gosh why do they all look similar? And I'm not talking about skin color.

Over and over again the standard look for these types of scum is called: Greaseball-tweaker

Made by some factory in China from the trash we send them. They just keep using the same molds and finish techniques

"Gosh why do they all look similar?"

Gee, that's my question also! but with a different point of view!
There have been several of these scenarios lately....
suspects at large" ...after the suspect allegedly rams the police vehicle, which causes the police to fire at the suspect....and the suspect gets away. Road blocks, searches...Suspect at Large!!!
How do they "let " him get away? why? Seriously......is it o.k. to shoot at a man and not his tires?

Three officers shot at him approx. 25 rounds (according to the picture).

A Cadillac Escalade is not a small vehicle either.. about the size of the Chevy siverados.

3 officers, 25 rounds??? doesn't that seem odd? Why not 2 rounds in the tires? If you truly didn't want him to get away.

I was told this story by a co-worker who supposedly witnessed the event first hand:

Co-worker and fellow hunter were walking through the woods looking for whitetail deer. Fellow hunter was in front.
They step into a small clearing and low and behold there is a deer standing there like 5 to 10 yards away, basically point blank range if you have a modern firearm. Fellow hunter had a pump action shotgun that he was holding across his chest with barrel pointed up. Fellow hunter commenced firing and emptied shotgun.....into the air (fortunately), shooting branch off tree.

Co-worker berated fellow hunter for missing deer. Fellow hunter just stood there repeating "I got him. I shot right at him." Fellow hunter insisted he had lowered the gun and shot the deer several times despite co-worker's testimony and physical evidence of shot-up foliage raining down on them.

So not surprised at all that nobody shot out the tires, which is Hollywood bull**** anyway. Depending on caliber and hotness of load, bullet can bounce back and injure or kill shooter, too.

There exist GPS trackers that can be fired at a fleeing vehicle...

GPS trackers... fired at a fleeing vehicle...

Would the people shooting GPS trackers have to aim as well as those shooting bullets?

have to aim as well

Tracker being non-lethal, less of a liability, so in theory they could take better aim.
