Chances are very high we are either living in a simulation or that some dangerous technology inevitably wipes out intelligent life before it can spread and be detected by other intelligent life. Otherwise, why wouldn't we be able to detect other life by now?

If there were UFOs, we'd be able to see them the best here in Puna. I see satellites and shooting stars all the time, why not aliens?

I've seen a UFO before but am pretty certain it wasn't an alien spaceship. We usually shoot those down before they get close enough for anyone to see.

Billions of stars and countless galaxies, there couldn't possibly be any life out there besides us. And if they did exist they wouldn't be smart enough to fly machines and certainly wouldn't come out here to Puna. And finally, darn.
