Roundup (cancer causing substance) cases underway
I wonder what you will say when this inevitably happens.

I'll say I'm mistaken if it happens. I remember awhile back you said, something similar about appeals and how we should check back in on this topic in a years time. Well that year has passed. Instead of the appeal happening, there has been more and more cases piling up and more and more juries awarding millions to the poor people suffering from non-hodgkins lymphoma brought on from Roundup use. I don't find it to be ridiculous. It seems righteous and deserved.

It seems righteous and deserved.

Righteous with no proof ?

I’ll keep asking, from time to time, but I’m assuming that Bayer has yet to pay any damages. I for one would be interested in knowing if that *ever* happens.

My sister passed away due to non-Hodgkins lymphoma. There is no evidence that her illness was caused by glysophate. What do you suggest should be done to test for non-Hodgkins supposedly caused by glysophate and the same illness that has no obvious cause?

Thanks in advance.

I offer my sincere condolences surrounding the topic of your sister's passing. I'm not sure how to answer your question at this point.

Sorry to hear about sis, though why you are bringing her up here baffles me.

Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a group of blood cancers that includes all types of lymphoma except Hodgkin's lymphomas...

How is one suppose to answer you? What do you expect when you ask a question like that?

@ Obie: Righteous with no proof ?

There's been data collected that shows an increased risk of NHL in people that have been habitually exposed to Roundup. That is "real" scientific evidence.

"habitually exposed to Roundup"

So your saying some people have a habit of exposing themselves to roundup ?

In that case their habit is the root of their problems not the roundup.

There is still no scientific proof.

There are people who have careers where it is their job to use it daily. This should not be news to you. I don't know why I have to explain this fact to you.

Why would their habit be the problem? The bottle of roundup doesn't say to not use it daily because of an increased risk to contract non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Therefore their boss delegates the duty of its use to their employees.

Say what you want, scientific evidence of the increased risk is scientific proof.

What Obie said.

People who are habitually exposed tho gasoline and other inhaleable substances through intentional misuse (To get high. It happens, ie sniffing glue) have high rates of negative side effects. Generally the manufacturer is required to put a warning on the label. Perhaps the manufacturers of glyphosate should be required to put warnings on how to use the product on the label. Oh, wait....

I still don't see how glyphosate is different from any other product whose misuse can cause harm. Numerous lawsuits and judgements do nothing to change my opinion.
