Aioli Sauce
#1
Does anyone know where I can purchase aioli sauce in the stores? Can't find it in any of the grocery stores in Hilo and I need it now so ordering it is not an option. I know I can make it myself...but I want something already prepared.

Found it ....Island Naturals. Cost more than I wanted to pay (12.99 a jar)....but it was needed.

Cant you make your own? Cook garlic in some oil, simmer awhile let cool then stir in some mayonnaise.

That would be flavored mayonnaise, not aioli.

I make a lot of sauces, dips, and pesto for folks. I can make an aioli for sale (not flavored mayo). I would just need it pre-ordered so I can collect the ingredients. It would need to be used right away as fresh made sauces and such are not shelf stable.

There are plenty of easy, not mayo recipes for aioli sauce online. Try this:

Essentially you are making your own garlic flavored mayo.
Certainty will be the death of us.

Exactly. Aioli = garlic mayo

It's a remarkably simple thing to make. You can flavour it with all sorts of things - my favourite is home smoked chipotle.

I like the recipe Island Naturals uses on their Aioli Salmon. It has dill, capers & is delicious. Also have been using a dab of Sriracha on sandwiches & in salad dressing.
