Puna Gnome has arrived...
#21
PunaGnome has made it to LA, safe and sound. Him and Tikiyaki Jr met and are getting along great. Tjr will be joining him for the journey...Hey, everyone needs a travel companion.

Tikiyaki Jr was born on Oahu. A friend of mine brought him back for me from a visit there a few years ago.
He will serve as travel buddy and security. Having a real Hawaiian diety will keep Bud out of harm's way. For those who will be playing host to Bud, please show Tjr the same respect and care you show Bud. He's from my personal collection. Please don't paint, draw on, or deface him in any way. He will bring you good luck from the Islands!

Mahalo

Here they are...

Hey Tony:

Thanks for the link. Do you have a nice http://punagnome.com/ banner for my links page? If so email it to me and I'll put it up.

New section going on the site "Puna Links". This is for PUNA businesses only. If it isn't operated in Puna it won't be accepted.

This will be a place for links about Puna (punaguide.com/punaweb.org), product/service business's based in Puna(fukubonsai.com/nisbet.net). I am not looking for amway style sites, which means someone trying to sell wholesale distribution style products. I am not looking for get rich quick opportunity sites.

If you have a website as referred to above and you are living in Puna send me the url via email and I will put a text link on the "Puna Links" page.

I do not promise you any direct business via this site because of this link but the more places you are linked the better.

If you would like to put a link back to punagnome.com that would be great but IS NOT REQUIRED.

I will review the site and place it in the appropriate category.

I reserve the right to decline any links sent that I feel do not represent honest Puna services and products.

Hey John:

I have a pretty cool bamboo bird cage/prison/photo op that you could use for the Gnome-Napping/Prison/ransom idea. Let me know if you want to borrow it when the time comes.

Bud looks to be having an awesome time. Tikiyaki, you just had to show off the egg chair, didn't ya?

Tony, now that I know you are a Motley Crue fan I have the perfect place to get Bud's picture made while he is rockin' in Atlanta.

You know, I know Hollywood. I want to see the unreleased photos of what happened to Mr.Gnome on the Sunset Strip. I think he may have been hanging out in W. Hollywood at the Tiki Bar.

Hazen, didn't you notice the extra curl in his toes?
Tikiyaki, those are great shots of Bud & Jr., esp. the streetseye view (can just image the look of the passerbys as you were taking that shot!)

Your punatic.net web site is looking great :-) and love your Puna Gnome. Tony, I have an idea for a tagline for your Puna Pnome's adventures; 'There's no place like Pnome'.

I saw this gnome concept before (not the tagline) where someone actually stole somebody's gnome from their front yard and then sent the owner photos of their gnome from all over the world like a randsom note. Sick bastards. Pretty funny actually. I would love to be put on your list. I moonlight in the winter grooming expert ski runs at Lake Tahoe so I can photograph your puna Gnome driving a snowcat, that could be funny. Can we get the gnome between January and April? Maybe we can photograph it at some casinos too.

Aloha, Tikiyaki told us over at HawaiiThreads.com all about the Puna Gnome Project and already several of us on Oahu are interested in participating.

Here's the discussion going on over there about "Bud"!...
