Is Honolulu going to go up to the 2006 IBC codes? They are still at the 1997 codes. We are only at the 1991 codes, so would the County jump from '91 to '06?

I don't wanna go to Kona! Arrgh!

Garg! There is already a whole shelf allotted to UBC's & IEC's now we are adding IBC's? Hmpf! Maybe I'll take up total green houses with composting toilets and nothing but photovoltaic & solar hot water. If one is gonna make things difficult, why not go whole hog? Ah! "As-Built" houses with composting toilets, photovoltaics and ..... Oh well, there's always home observatories, as far as I know, they aren't listed in the UBC at all. Wonder if they are in the IBC?

Mumble, mumble, mutter, rant and rave. Ya know, they do this to us about every decade. I think they figure out it takes us about that long to get everything figured out, then they change the rules. Oh wellos! It's gotta suck for them, too.

A hui hou!

Aloha KapohoCat,

It would be lovely if you would post the essence of the "cliff notes" online for the rest of us who didn't go to Kona as well, if you would?

Friday the 13th AND Kona just seemed too much.

A hui hou!
