A friend of my went looking for dust mask today> They went to at least 4 stores only one who had some was Home depot and they only had a few boxes left. They try online everyone is sold out.Hope everyone is stock up.

If you’re buying masks for the COVID-19 virus, you need to order the anti-viral masks, not anti-bacterial, or dust masks.

Just heard a story on mask on the Hawaii news the mask dont help from getting covid19 only helps from spreading it after you get it. I dont now what true or false anymore.

Dr. Ruggieri says masks prevent you from touching your face which is one of the quickest ways to get sick. But it’s only 50 to 60, maybe 70 percent effective at best.
Dr. Ruggieri says if you have a mask, use it. A mask may offer some resistance.

If this gets out of hand here on the big is. you will know me by the mask I am wearing. It will be my cut & empty 2 quart plastic tonic water bottle strapped on my head with elastic ties.
joking aside...
I did read on BBC the importance of protecting ones eyes as well.

The virus can enter your body through your eyes !

These masks don't prevent that .

Where did you read this about the mask all the research I did says n-95 just fine . The cheap dust masks dont work at all as far can see.

N95 respirator masks, are designed to protect the wearer from small particles in the air that may contain viruses.
