HPP road fees
#61

I want to thank Mermaid and District 7 board directors for trying to defer the road fees during the coronavirus pandemic. It shows they have HPP's best interests at heart. I hope people will think twice before they believe the lies and garbage from the lawsuit supporters. There are people in HPP facing a financial crisis and this is how they behave. It's disgusting. In a time of crisis you'll see the true character, best and worst of people. The best, District 5 and 7 directors, and the worst District 1 director and his lawsuit supporters. They're suing HPPOA so no surprise. Just more of their same self serving interests. People like this don't belong on the board of directors. Same goes for the general manager who is in kahoots with the director who's suing HPPOA. They're holding HPPOA hostage when HPPOA is paying the general manager's salary.

Mahalo for your opinionated insertion though none of it is factual what is factual is what occurred with the District 7 and District 5 (mermaid)representatives that was the reasoning for the “ mass resignations” .
For starters the road assessments can not be adjusted as simply as mermaid see’s fit !!
The cry me a river story of trying to call a meeting with concern of the association employees community etc with the Coronavirus is ahhh kinda late to now show interest on implementation of safeguarding persons or business( stop putting the lipstick on the pig) ! The GM has the authority and business sense to have obviously already addressed the issues faster than it took mermaid to have the brilliant idea at the end of March to start thinking of the effect to the employees community and business!

She proved my point. In a time of crisis you'll see the worst of people like this one > Stillwater...blah blah blah, enough already!

1. Could you please tell us all, all the things that were not factual?

2. I would also like to know what has been done by the GM to address the issues. As far as I know, we must all still pay our fees by Wednesday, April 1. It would be nice to inform the members of what’s going on.

3. Why can you not carry on a conversation without belittling everyone? Being civil has to start somewhere. Stop being so nasty with every response. I understand not agreeing but name calling and bullying is not acceptable.

Appreciate your responses.

Sorry but here it is again...a reminder, the GM has NO authority to make these decisions for the Association Stillwater. ONLY the Board can which is why we called a special board meeting for urgent business regarding the cornonavirus pandemic. This is the legal way of handling this business. The GM and Kawaauhau are obstacles in serving the best interests of the Association during a pandemic.

Section 8. Powers and Authority. Except for the limitations set by the Articles of Incorporation and by these bylaws as to actions to be authorized or approved by the membership and subject to the duties of the directors as prescribed by the bylaws, all corporate powers and affairs of the Association shall be exercised or controlled by or with authority of the board. The directors shall have such power and duties as may be necessary or proper including, but not limited to the following

(f) Employ, supervise, and dismiss such personnel or independent contractors as may be necessary for the maintenance and operation of the Association and its committees, and prescribe such duties for them as are consistent with law, the Articles of Incorporation, and these bylaws.

This is not hard to understand for the average person that it takes a board to make decisions for the Association.

Thanks Leo for your kind support and thank you KPHawaii for asking important questions. I look forward to Stillwater's response.

What’s not factual? The entire statement! eyes are turning brown!
To say a board director is looking out for the best interest of the association ..
The best interest of the association is maintenance and improvements of roads along with community harmony mermaid has not ever promoted any of these . It is also not factual that people of the community that are in support of the President of his actions and do not feel mermaid and co are doing what is in the best interest are speaking lies and garbage. The outright lie of d5 and d7 being the “good guys” they destroyed any improvements that were to be made for the community and fuel the fires for disharmony within the community! The GM being in Kahootz with the President? look at the bylaws What the President duties are and the GM for that matter! The entire statement made is false! It’s only factual to the ones brainwashed to believe what mermaid is stating to be truth -it’s not!!

Still haven’t heard what is mermaids experience in business??

What is the GM doing regarding the road dues? Ummmm maybe his job! Anyone who is having financial issues may want to call and talk to the office I am not affiliated therefore can’t answer that
But obviously he is looking out for the best interest of the end and the members as he has closed the office to incoming persons.
Why I can’t be civil? REALLY?
KP From what I understand you are only willing to have civil conversation with those that agree with mermaid and co I know of a few that offered to share their knowledge and proof of some serious issues to do with serious issues that had transpired by mermaid and co with you but you were closed minded and arrogant to them from my understanding . If this is not so then I must just be perceiving it that way .
Sort of like you perceive my so called bullying and name calling? You perceive bullying and name calling , I state truth of what I am positive of and the proof I have seen .

My only questions- what’s mermaid’s profession?? What experience does she bring to the BOD table?

I don't know but IMO looks like Stillwater's grasping at straws. She established on PT that she doesn't know the ByLaws and that the board of directors she was on had complete control of HPPOA. They outnumbered two directors and want to play the blame game. Isn't that what kids do? Stillwater thinks we're stupid enough to swallow that. I witnessed the most dysfunctional HPPOA board of directors I ever saw. To amplify their dysfunction they thought a lawsuit would solve their problems. All they did was cause a hell of a lot of problems for HPPOA! Now Stillwater thinks she's going to solve her problems on a Punatalk forum?!! She has no control, it's in the court's hands. Enough whining Stillwater! It ain't going to make one bit of difference in court.

Stillwater,

What are you trying to accomplish here?
Not trying to pick a fight, I just would like to know.

Aloha EightFingers,
I’m not wanting to fight with anyone but I will fight for the truth .
In all sense of reality I don’t feel there will be any accomplishments in regards to the state of the HPP board of directors here on Punatalk or any other social media site. What I will not do is not stand by and watch certain individuals falsely accuse people in the community, employees of the association, and the GM of wrongdoing without valid proof, some claim to support complete transparency and in order for this all that transpired must be revealed ! The entire truth is being withheld and In my opinion this is detrimental to all being accused and that is my fight. If anything could be accomplished here it would be that it Is up to the court to give the final word.
