Anyone get their stimulus check yet?

As for much of the stimulus money going to the rich and big corporations, yes we'd better worry. Our learlus feeder fired the overseer who was to control the money and inserted another buttkisser.

It's a pretty wide mix of recipients for the 2.2 trillion dollars, although this isn't the entirety of the bailout efforts either (airlines lining up as we speak). The $1200 does look a bit like "bread and circuses" for the masses comparatively, but you do need to keep businesses large and small afloat as well if you want to treat this as a economic pause and not a complete reset with the government having to be the primary income source for most people (FDR WPA programs? UBI?)

Then again, maybe it's just polishing the brass...

If you receive your check by mail, it’s going to be delayed by a few days. At the last minute Donald Trump decided he wanted “Donald Trump” printed on all stimulus checks:

It will be the first time a president’s signature appears on an IRS disbursement, whether a routine refund or one of the handful of checks the government has issued to taxpayers in recent decades either to stimulate a down economy or share the dividends of a strong one.

Often when I pass through a Federal govt facility (e.g. Immigration at airports) I see a portrait of the current President on the wall.
I have never seen one of the this Prez. Is that just Hawaii?
