I usually go to the Hilo Farmers Market, the "tourist" one. The place there would make me an arrangement of my choice of flowers. I want lots of red Anthuriums.
I don't want to drive all the way to Hilo to find out they are not there.
Anyplace near HPP that I could get such an item... today or tomorrow?

Try the outdoor market at Keaau behind the Shell station, the vendor to the far left usually has a good assortment of tropicals. Good luck!
If you go to Volcano, the Volcano store has amazing flowers most of the time, many varieties we can't grow at our lower elevation.

There is also an anthurium packing house just down the street from Greenhouse Specialties off Hwy 130 in Keaau. Same side of the street. I have gotten flowers there and they can pack and do the AG inspection if you are shipping to the mainland.
Assume the best and ask questions.

That’s Pacific Floral, if you want to call them first. If it’s for your own use and you don’t mind minor imperfections, ask if they have any “B” grades. They’re less expensive.
