Rob,
I'm seriously interested in your company's products. I would like to do more involved preliminary work now. Some of your packages look kind of nice but I would have to alter some. I'm also kind of anal about preparing for future electrical and I.T. type upgrades. Should I just use the 800 number on the company site and talk to who(m?)ever? Call and ask for you? Call and throw your name? Does it matter?

You can call the 800 number (800-672-7872) and either I will answer or your will get the answering machine. I understand about modifying or developing plans. It is rare that one of the standard plans is accidently perfrect for someone.

Thanks for your interest.

I find them real interesting also.
The process is quite different, and hard for me to see what the end product would be like unless inside it I would think.
Here is one that is for sale on the MLS #179283 currently. It is in the Hamakua district and comes complete with a bamboo forest and Koa wood growing there too.

Reduced recently from $795 to 659 but it is on acres of great land.
The county does not show it permitted and it need the DNLR approval to show residential, since it is in a conservation area. Plus you must have a 4 wheel drive to get there. Makes moving in fun, huh?
Seems alot to overcome to sell it.
If it went down another 100 K I would buy it, if all went well!
The house is only 1059sf and only a 1/1 so I am not sure it is a mover with only one bedroom, unless someone wants to change that or likes it that way. Plus the kitchen I would not like at all, It needs a kitchen and many cabinets there, laundry room and bath. Real sparce as far as anything put into it inside but gosh would my Std. poodles and I love it up there!
Clean fresh air!!

Cat,
I saw that but was surprised that they thought a shed or storage building would cover this, As it is now used and being sold as a house. Plus it shows permits in 2002 for the storage building and on the MLS that the house was built in 2005.

I remember Patty having to get a permit, so they passed that hurtle before building it and maybe you had to also David?
What will become of this with someone buying it? hmmm The DLNR could make you at some point take it down or fine an owner, since it looks like it is in violation as it is now? It would need to be asked of the DLNR to know for sure. Oh well, I wish them well with it. It has way more problems that I would want to take on, with adding so much to the house and putting in another structure to have some storage etc.
