Check out our House in progress.

Mark I have a transit level you can use if you want. It may be easier to use than the water level.

Thanks Royall. We just wanted to try the water level. I've used before. This one has a beeper
that tells when level. We may change our minds
if to difficult. If so our neighbor has offered his level. We appreciate your offer.

Got to use the water level today. Once set up
(filled with water and set to level desired)
simply move hose end to each post. Raising and lowering the hose to seek the setpoint. When the water level reaches near the set point it beeps often. When you hit set point a loud steady beep sounds. Mark and cut. We got our post cut today and had fun using the water level. check out our pics.
We got a treat today. Carrie/Carolann R brought by Mella and Cindy to see the house. Nice meeting. Thanks for Stopping by.

We got the Girders up and ready to put up joists. We have company that is forcing us to take time to enjoy the island. We hope to have the floor down by the end of the year. Please check out our pics.

That patio is about as cute as can be with those Christmas lights.

OK, dumb assed question. In a situation like this - if you wanted to move the door off center - would the plans need to be redrawn?

hehe, and I thought that beep, beep, beep, we heard was the road runner or perhaps the burglar warning system!

Best of luck to you both! Your progress is mind bending!

Thank goodness for intruding lookie loos and island visitors! Scratch the dog ears for me. I'm not sure if it is the air, the green and blue beauty, your graciousness, or the soft puppy ears, but I'm only back 4 days on the mainland and find myself homesick. It must be all the mystical magic of the BI, and it's inhabitants!

Mella

Thanks,
Dave ,Glen and Mella for the compliments. The compliments are our only payment tell we are finished with this house.
Hey Gene, not sure about the plan question.
We have made suttle changes in our floor plan that we live in now without a redraw. But that was us just taking the chance.

We've been trying to get the floor done. The company and rain slowe us down. We have a good
part of the joists up. Next we will get the floor plywood delivered. Hope to have the floor
done by New Year. Check out our pics of progress and Shadow the kitty.
