Gov. David Ige says state indoor mask mandate to end March 25

You are the one who posted the theory that you can build immunity, so I defer to you.
To a bacterial infection? I made no such claim. We have been talking about viruses.

It’s not a novel concept, it’s how vaccines work, live attenuated vaccines traditionally are the virus itself used to teach your immune system how to fight it. Natural immunity works by the fact that I got Omnicron so my immune system now trained will defeat further exposure to Covid variants barring a new lab release or some extreme evolution. The mRNA vaccines work by training your body to fight a specific spike protein from the original virus strain, we shall see how well that strategy plays out.

Like I said, we are probably all going to be infected with Covid of one variant or another, wish you all luck with it. I had mild symptoms and am thankful I have a functioning immune system, it could have been so much worse if my immune system wasn’t ready. I was mostly isolated and wearing my mask when in public just like everyone else.
Whatever it's all just noise at this point and at midnight Rob can close this down. The subject line was about the mask mandate ending today.
For some, any forum is about their pet peeve. That's why we all wished for better forum software, to filter the peeves out.

Emergency doesn't end until 23:59 HST, so visit Ace without a mask tomorrow.

I fully expect Ige to extend the emergency with a press conference at 14:00.
Oops!  An honest mistake.  Big Grin

Ige press conference?  LOL.
LOL, a press conference on a state government holiday? No can!
Where are all the Puna William Wallaces hanging out their car windows, walking through parking lots and stores shouting?
FREEDOM!
FREEDOM!!
FREEDOM!!!

The letdown or sheer exhaustion from long term overly great expectations?
"I'll be in the Pahoa roundabout tomorrow protesting these lockdowns and restrictions! This is what it felt like in Nazi Germany!!! THEY WANT TO CONTROL US!!1" -- someone, still, no doubt...
Went to Orchidland General Store today. Mask sign still up on door.

Muzzled up and walked in. Only one employee was wearing one, all the other employees I saw and most of the customers were raw dogging the air they were breathing.

Took my muzzle off.

I guess they forgot to remove sign.

Please let us know how that works out for ya.. Don't forget to brush
