You mean illegal like all the lots that have no access because the County found 'better' ways to spend that Fed money instead of restoring roads?

Holy Moly is that an ugly run-on sentence or what?

If they own and operate a strip club on the premises.

They could provide a venue for native folk dancing providing valuable cultural enrichment.

...

Seriously, though. Would anyone be mad if I took a shovel and started digging out 1st bay. Best case scenario it would be like the waimea bay river, where a narrow trench would be enough to wash out tons of sand and sediment.

The best option would be to find a way to fill the remaining pool and boat ramp with excess water so it would overflow and wash out in the opposite direction.

Then natural erosion might eventually pull a lot of the excess sand down the coast.

Not certain if people would like that idea. Maybe better to let the sleeping dogs lie.

I have been wondering why the whole of the Puna district doesn’t organize a shoveling party for pohoiki bay boat ramp. Everybody brings their own shovel and we cooperate to dig an access to the ocean. (I understand that’s legal, btw.)

Doesn't matter as long as you can walk along the water. Same applies to Mark Zuckerberg or Kanaka Maoli.
