I don't know if they are 316; but HPM and Home Depot have stainless steel nails for guns. Only a couple of sizes though.

If you can't find any on island I have been using Amazon for my nail gun nails, free shipping, 40 lb box. Nice.

Scott.... Did they ship the nails free to Hawaii??? Or was that on the mainland?

They keep telling me that Hawaii isn't part of the US[:0]

Hi Royall, I had two boxes of nails shipped free to our pmb in Keaau. They shipped under Amazon's super saver shipping, no problems. This was just 6 weeks ago.

Scott,
I just tried to order some nails from B & C Eagle on Amazon. However, they do not ship to Hawaii.

From what supplier on Amazon didy ou order your "free ship" nails?

I order stuff from Amazon.com all the time too. When you select an item from the list make sure it says, "Free Super Saver Shipping", and that the SELLER is Amazon. Amazon uses other sellers as well and these sellers do not generally offer super saver shipping. With tools I've been able to get free shipping about half the time, with other items almost all the time. My husband just ordered a Makita beam saw from Amazon that was listed at 729.99 at Wire products without the blade. On Amazon it was $569.00 with the blade. This was also free shipping. A bargain considering the blade itself is $200. I love Amazon. Angela

How do you get your mail... At a PO Box or street delivery? That might make the difference. Most of the time they don't like PO boxes.

Hi Royall, I get my USPS mail to a Po Box. It's with Amazon on the same day I placed an order for 2 different tools. One was a roofing nailer, the other was the beam saw. I always try to input my PO Box as a first choice for mailing. They accepted it for the roofing nailer, but for the Beam Saw they required my to input a physical address, which means they deliver by UPS or Fedex. I did so expecting them to charge me shipping in which case I was ready to cnacel that part of my order, but lo and behold it still came up as "Free Super Saver Shipping." I don't understand really the rhyme or reason, but after many years of ordering through them I have concluded that most times if an item is listed as "Amazon" as the seller, the free shipping applies. However, there were a few times I tried to order a tool item and it would not give me free shipping. The neat thing though is you can input all your info and get to the last screen where it tells you your final total, with shipping if there is any, and you have to prompt it to continue the order, so I always do that, and if there is a shiiping charge I cancel the order at that point.
