There is a leak in our single bathroom around the base of the toilet. Apparently floor needs to be reinforced/partially replaced. Have no idea who I could employ to do some repairs nor extent of damage. Any recommendation would be helpful. Live in Orchidland Estates.

Aloha Amrita, almost any handy-person worth their salt will have no problem yanking the toilet, cutting out the rotten floor and sub-floor, replacing the sub-floor and flooring, and re setting your throne upon a new wax (or synthetic) ring.
I won't recommend a handyman but they are around. Craigslist has a few. Try Facebook.
It will help you to not get scalped, if you are familiar with the procedure. Who knows, maybe you can even do it yourself.

If a person's home is their castle, then you surely need the throne to be right. Right?
I wish you all the best.

Thanks for the advice, feel less stressed. Floor is not currently leaking, but damage is there, old, Terminex came for annual inspection and suggested get floor fixed. I shall follow your advice in a while, have company coming, so don't want to disrupt the flow.
