I need a real barber....
#1
I need a real barber and barbershop. Man or woman. I need one than know how to handle and hone a straight razor (dont worry I will bring my razor) has all the cylinders filled with green and blue liquids.

My boy just turned 1yo and needs a haircut in a bad way before I start calling him girl's names. I really dont need a wig-snap I shave it myself, but a hot towel straight razor shave from a real barber is always nice.

Any suggestions???

Haoleboy, I don't need the haircutting tool they used on you at the orphanage. A haircut and a free bowl of soup is not what I had in mind.

Right next to our Hilo office is an old-style barbershop, I don't know what services he offers in all, but give him a call. The Den (935-8300)

My ex-partner did my hair for 19 years, with the exception of about a year after "the incident". I could wait no longer and so went to Jan's on the recommendation of a friend. What a wonderful lady she is. She has been cutting hair for 60 years! Today, Roy cut my hair. Price was right. That place was like Fried Green Papayas at the Whistlestop Cafe. What a trip. Jan taught me how to say "Happy New Year" in Japanese (which I promptly forgot --it quite an elaborate little speech, and not just a well wishes). Jan is going to make a mess of mochi, which I'd love to be in on (unless I can find some at the KTA). Someone invited me to his wedding, but there was some question as to whether there was a wedding and I had to get back home anyway (I always wanted to get married on a rainy Tuesday night in December). I was pretty pleased with my cut and definitely pleased with the price.
