Regarding: an Unplanned Subdivision, Private Roads, A Voluntary Community Association Suing Over 5,000 HPP Owners, Deed Restricted Land, A 12 Million Dollar Loan, Golf Courses, Walking Paths, A County Park, Burial Sites, Historic Villages, Mailboxes, Bylaw Amendments, and more.
Mr. O. is correct, I do know a lot, about most of the above. I know, because I took the time to research, read, and talk with others who have HPP and HPPOA (formerly Paradise Hui Hanalike) experiences that span decades.
If anyone would like to learn more history about HPP and HPPOA (formerly Paradise Hui Hanalike) or better, share what they know with me, I will be very happy to visit with you. Just contact me, ask me a question about HPP or HPPOA and I will give you an answer. Do not like the answer? Do not want to believe it? Do not want to bother to research it yourself? That is your choice. I no longer wish to argue or read disparaging remarks some seem to enjoy writing about others.

I think you should write a book.. It certainly won't make it to the Time's best seller list, but hey our little corner of the world is interesting to us, right? So there's got to be a market.. albeit a small one. Like some before you, Charles Langlas' seminal work Under the Volcano: the People of Kalapana comes to mind, or, The Shipmans of East Hawaii by Emmett Cahill, both local folks publishing what they've poured their heart and soul into. And of course we've had all sorts of folks go on about our culture, our flora and fauna, our volcanoes. So yeah, if you really know all that stuff I think it'd be cool if you write a book. I am sure you could even get a few of us to buy a copy if you do.. let us know.

I'm trying to figure out why a new moderator would write something like this after Patricia's innocuous post. Is this something new? Does everyone who hasn't posted recently get a lecture, or do you know some history none of us know but can infer?

I think it is evident that Patricia is a reincarnation of someone who was previously banned and will be given a second chance, hence the warning about the rules. A couple subsequent posts have shown that the warning may not have been heeded.

Well, yes, I'm sorry if you didn't get what I was hinting at. Why Patricia and not everyone else who got banned or changed their usernames? I'm not saying Patricia was banned, it's just some here seem to know who it is. This is very specific. Why is there a warning for a post that doesn't break the rules? Why don't others get a public warning like this one?

M2's post did seem a bit odd. As a HPP property owner I do have interest in what's going on there as all I get are bills. I used to at least get 2 ballots on issues but not in ages. I have no interest in participating in any HPP squabbles
