I saw the post Kane made. I saw the edits M2 made, and I have read the follow up bullshit Kane has said about it. M2 is telling the truth, Kane is lying. Sorry if that reality upsets you, but having said that, what do I specifically need to defend?

Ironic isn't it. All the calls, begging, screaming and fist beating calling for the moderation of PunaWeb that results in PunaWeb being (finally) fairly moderated - and BANG - look what we now got!

M2 has effectively facilitated my decision to file a legal action against them.
I initially removed the post due to its inclusion of a defamatory claim. However, since M2 has chosen to repost it, they should now anticipate the need to defend their position in court.
I provided M2 with two options: either substantiate their defamatory accusation with evidence or remove thier defamatory notation within my post and issue an apology.
By reposting the post I deleted to remove the defamatory note, M2 has opted to pursue the defamatory course of action.

I read the thread before it was moderated and my impression was that the offended would vehemently disagree with your statement above.

IMO, moderator should have instead closed the thread ASAP and just left all the posts stand.

I just looked at the thread at https://punaweb.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=23303&page=3, and some posts must have been deleted; otherwise, the recent stuff doesn't make sense. That thread is now closed, so I can't comment there. Although Kane and I often disagree, I see nothing that he posted that claims that the false 2018 missile warning was due to a conspiracy. The mystery now is what was posted and what was removed, i.e., who is honest and telling the truth? When a moderator removes evidence, you wonder why that was done. On the other hand, it's not hard to save what you posted so you can shove it in someone's face when they lie.

The incident was the result of local government incompetence, and at no point did I suggest otherwise. The inference made by Moderator 2 was incorrect. Given their refusal to provide evidence supporting their claim, it is evident that no such proof exists to substantiate their claim of a claimed conspiracy theory. 

My original post was intended to draw a comparison between the concerns expressed by Hawaii's legislators regarding NATO's stance in light of the ongoing Ukrainian conflict and the fear-driven narrative surrounding North Korea and the false missile warning from seven years ago and it's impact on the people of Hawaii. We are once again back in a similar state of concern. 

People are free to speculate on the underlying causes of the false warning, but that remains a matter of conjecture. What I don't appreciate is when my statements are hidden away and then wrongfully represented in a defamatory way.

I was not Wahine but we all have a bit of savage beast within. If anything I was commending you for standing by your man and trying to steer the conversation back to a very valid discussion of community standards, censorship, correct exercise of power, etc.
