Stopped watching when she started talking about Syria, with no plans to watch any more of it. She is SO wrong about Obama's approach to that country. "Regime change"? That's absurd. Here's a BBC article that discusses the subject. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38297343
Yes, Obama considered striking the Syrian government after they launched a chemical attack. He didn't feel this would be appropriate without congressional approval. On the other hand, Trump DID strike a Syrian government airbase without discussing it with congress during his first term. Tulsi has a faulty memory and is poorly informed, not good qualities for an intelligence director. Edit: Or wait, on second thought perhaps she's simply lying?
This thread is about Tulsi Gabbard.
Please restrain comments to Tulsi and Puna, Tulsi and Hawaii, or her actions as they pertain to her time as a resident of Hawaii or as our US representative to the House of Representatives.
If you can relate something she did in Hawaii to current events, don’t post unless you can connect the dots without bending the lines, or turning the dots into a black hole.
Hard to believe that some here think that Tulsi has been doing something wrong with Syria/Russia, etc. when she has been serving as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve since 2021, having previously served in Hawaii Army National Guard from 2003 to 2020. How is it possible for her to maintain that position and security clearances if she was really being paid by or colluding with our enemies?

Anita van Duyn says she spent 15 years inside the Science of Identity Foundation, a fringe offshoot of Hare Krishna that was formed in the 1970s and has been described by defectors as a cult.......
“Everybody is thinking her allegiance is to [one of the orange guys], but in reality her allegiance was already given away to her guru,” van Duyn said in an interview with Civil Beat. “You can’t just go in and out of that. That’s a lifetime commitment.”
"A lifetime commitment" that "you can't just go in and out of" for everyone except the author of the letter, van Duyn, and all of the other "defectors". Oh the irony.
