I've received in the mail a petition for the recall of the district 5 representative (president?). It's the first mailing I've received from anybody or anything in HPP in years other than the road bill. My wife and I own 2 lots so we supposedly get 2 votes. I realize the HOA, such as it is, is and always has been a disaster. But I'd like some feedback on this issue. I expect some input from the originator, whom I suspect is a regular poster here, but I'd like some other objective input. I'd especially like input form Tom as I believe he also lives in the affected District. Please no name calling or squabbles. I'd just like a better understanding of the issues. Just reading the petition some of the complaints seem fairly serious.

I wasn't even aware that there was a recall process for HPP Directors. Can you post the allegations or a summary of them? I don't live in that district, but as a 22 year HPP property owner, the perpetual train wreck that is HPPOA affects me directly, so I'm interested.
Meanwhile, this topic might get more traction on the main forum, but I understand why you put it here. Patricia would no doubt take over the thread and turn it into another Scheißschau if you put it there.

Here is a Go Fund Me with some info about the recall. It says mailings will begin in January.
HPPOA and directors Karin Hoffman and Jeffrey Finley are currently involved in 2 lawsuits and 1 arbitration. The first lawsuit is related to their violation of the deed restrictions on the HPPOA parcels for the mailbox projects. The initial lawsuit was filed by an owner to enforce the deed restrictions on the parcels. The Watumull Investment Company recently responded to a complaint filed against them by directors Karin Hoffman and Jeffrey Finley as a 3rd party lawsuit.

Thank you, HOTPE. I think it highly unlikely that the petitioners will get 200 signatures when fewer than that many owners have bothered to vote in HPPOA district elections on a number of occasions. At least I now know that there is a recall process.

So, as I understand it, and correct me if I am wrong, but each district elects each director who lives in each district by a majority of votes cast by the residents of each district.
As such, and again as I understand it, Karin Hoffman who lives in and was elected by the residents of district 5 and Jeffrey Finley who lives in and was elected by the residents of district 9.
Can anybody state what their respective vote totals were that elected them to the Board in the first place?
Since it takes 200 votes each to recall each director, if they were elected to the Board with less than 200 votes each to begin with, I'd say this is a losing proposition.
And then, at this point, how much time is left on each of their respective terms?

You guys are ridiculous. You make assumptions that are untrue, throw out accusations that have no basis in fact or reality to back them up.
I did not organize the recall. Not my baby. So, how about some of you research and look up info on your own? instead of expecting, ever time that you throw out your hand, someone is going to GIVE it to you.
Pathetic, petty, LAZY, cowards.
What the HECK has happened to PW?
Apologies, Oink. I will not say anymore. I will allow the "experts" to do that.

You happened to it, that's what, with endless repetitive prattle, replying to your own comments, and attention seeking beyond belief.
I did not say or imply that you started the recall. I just said you would juimp into the discussion and try to take it over, and here you are.

Keep my name out of it, CHUNKSTERK.
Oink, I am sharing this link. Ignore my "politics" if you do not agree/like them (and all you others, please just back off).

The link is to a website I put up- again, if you do not agree with what I have posted that is not really relevant. What is relevant and might better help you understand are the pdfs, regarding the lawsuits that HPPOA is currently involved in. The pdfs are taken from the court docket.

Now that's really rich coming from Patricia. I broke my own rule of not feeding trolls by even mentioning her name, having stopped participating in her pet threads some time ago. Those of you who share my opinion should just ignore her as that's the worst imaginable punishment from her point of view.
So Patricia will get the last work here, as we all know she will be back with another retort. I'm done and back in ignore mode.

This is an excellent example of the misinterpretation of facts. I reread this thread from the beginning. No one even suggested Patricia organized the recall petition. Yet she attacks and accuses people of doing so.
Consider how this simple misinterpretation of facts and information might also create false conclusions in other more complex areas of laws, bylaws, management structure, and general operations of public and/or private entities.
