Have you bought any gas lately?
#91
$5.90 for ethanol free yesterday at Big Island Energy Company. I don't know how that compares to other local stations because this is the first time I bought gas since April now that I'm getting 2,300 miles per tank. I bet I could have gone 3,000 or more if our weather wasn't so unusually overcast for this time of year.

$5.90 a gallon for ethanol free is cheap! Last time I bought it was $6.20 at Alohoa near the Malama Market.

BIEC is generally 30 cents or more cheaper than Puna and other Hilo options.  It's monthly autopay from your bank account so subtract the value of any points you may be used to collecting for your CC gas purchases.

30 cents is about 8% off a gallon, that's better than 2% most credit card points are worth. My math might be off, but my point isn't unless it's way off.

Your excellent points make a lot of cents, as always, Terracore.  BIEC is the way to go for sure when geography lines up with one's need and/or desire to put gas.

Brent crude went over $100 a barrel Thursday 7/23.  If you have a gas tank, fill it up.

Are we at the point yet, where we can all say it’s too much winning?

Have we reached the point where we can’t take so much winning anymore?

Is it too much winning?

Winning? Or, perchance, do you mean whining? Either way, you might try the Bicker Board.

Here, with the fuel crisis just about ready to hit the wall, with our refineries all running at 100% and the strategic oil reserves almost depleted, I think discussion and observations of our gas prices, and the underlying nonsense that has foisted this wholly unnecessary calamity upon is, has only just begun.
