Regarding Target opening in the State, I recall that about the time that this thread started, I came across a job posting for an executive position (HR?) in the Target organization to be based in Honolulu.

Les, in the Trib-herald last week they had an article that stated they had selected an area around Honolulu (forgot where, started with a P?) they are planning on opening the store in 2009. They have been actively recruiting business majors at UH-H this semester, so it seems like they are definately looking for admin. staff for the new store (s).
