New Lamont Adventure....
#1
It's been a while since I put up something laughable but I figured you could all appreciate my attempts here....

We have become involved in a special foster program for special needs children. It is a behavior modification program so the kids stay aor a time and move on. We currently have a wonderful boy named Harvey. He is 14 years old.

We ask him to try new things and live a different life than he ever has. He brought it to our attention that he tries new things for us and asked me to try something new for him. To answer that request, I am currejtly making... ugh... PIGS FEET SOUP. This is a new cultural experience for me. I already sent Bob an email and asked him not to make a fuss at something he doesn't want to try. However hubby is the classic meat and potatoes man. This should be comic at best.

Wish me luck... Pam

Pam,

Good for you. Once you are done with the pigs feet soup, you can move on to PICKLED PIGS FEET!! They are great. Also chicken feet soup - on the farm you do not waste much.

I remember eating Pigs Feet Soup when I was growing up! Call me when you are done with cooking, I haven't had it since!

Personally I prefer the pickled pigs knuckle. It seems to have a little more to work with. Actually my favorite is the pickled sausages with cheezits and a soda. Yum!

Should you still have pig parts left over, you could look up a recipe for "head cheese".

Where did you get the pig's feet?

the feet were from our own pigs... raised in a clean pen and fed well, then professionally spaughtered and wrapped. I am surprised but it was good Smile
